英汉诗歌爱情隐喻对比浅析

隐喻不仅仅是一种语言现象，它其实还是人类思维的一种方式。情感是人类最普遍，最重要的人生体验。为了生动形象地描述人类的抽象情感，人们经常把它们隐喻化。在人类各种情感体验中，爱情具有特殊的地位和重要的作用。而诗歌是隐喻最常出现的场所。所以本文考察了大量英语和汉语诗歌的诗句，发现英语和汉语诗歌中的“爱情”概念隐喻有很大的相似性和独特性。最后得出由于认知和文化的因素导致了这两种语言中隐喻的相似性和相异性。

A Comparative Study of the Love Metaphors in English and Chinese Poems

Conceptual metaphor is not only a linguistic phenomenon but also a way of thinking. Emotion is one of the most important and pervasive aspects of human experience. Peopie often resort to metaphor to describe the abstract emotions because of its abstraction and fuzziness. Love plays an important part in emotion concepts. Metaphor is needed in poetry.The thesis explores the conceptualization of the emotion of love in English and Chinese poems and finds out that many similarities and differences of love metaphors exist in English and Chinese poems. This research finally proves that the factors of cognition and culture lead to the similarities and differences of metaphors between the two languages.
