Design and Application of Welding Groove Modeling for Hull Structure

Based on the shipbuilding design software Ship Product Design (SPD), the design of welding groove modeling for hull structure during the ship design is explored, the relevant standards of welding groove modeling for hull structure and function innovation of macro groove modeling are discussed, and the special stress is laid on introducing the application of welding groove modeling data to hull structure model, which provides the support for the statistical management of welding inventory and the digital shipbuilding.
