| Abstract: | In this paper,the deformation,breakup,and coalescence of dispersed phase droplets in Newtonian liquid systems and viscoelastic liquid systems are reviewed.For Newtonian liquid systems a generally good understanding of dispersed phase morphology has been gained,whereas for viscoelastic liquid systems the comprehension is limited,especially for the effect of elasticity. |
