| Abstract: | The article introduces the advantages and principium of SPE (Solid Polymer Electrolyte) water electrolysis, and describes membrane-electrode assemblies (MEAs) and all kinds of preparation methods of MEAs, including pretreatments of membrane and mechanism of impurity ions envenom the Pt electrode. The article summarizes the selection of substrate as current collector, the method of coatings preparation, the key issues on the cell configuration design, and brings forward expectation to SPE water electrolysis. |
