The Selection of Optimum Ship Speed and Adjustment of Diesel Engine Operating Condition |

| Abstract: | The principle of selecting ship speed is introduced and the concept of optimum ship speed is put forth. It is indicated that technology should serve for economy6 and ship speed should serve for market, then the adjustment of operating condition of diesel engine will be correspondingly carried out. The adjustment of parameters is discussed in detail, and principle, range and caution items of the adjustment are analyzed. This paper has reference value for shipping management, navigation and marine engineers. |
