According to the practical situation of cable tensioned at the top of the pylon, under the condition that the tensive force of the cable at the top of pylon is known, a revised inclination formula of the cable at the pylon and deck is concluded, first. Second, the tension distributing and the differential equation for the stay-cable are derived out, the stressed length and the nonstressed length of cable are discussed therewith. Last, a simple but practical iterative method is also introduced.
