Casualty Analysis of Road Side Collision

In traffic accidents the injury rate of side accident was at the first place, and the occurrence probability and the death rate was only less than that of front impact. This paper analyzed casualty reason for side accident, including side impact accident characteristics and casualty types and causes for passenger. It demonstrated the movement of vehicle after side impact accidents using the method of force analysis. Finally, causes of death of passengers in different forms of side impact collision were summed up and new measures to improve the security were proposed.
