今年以来．国际上对拆船业的关注度不断升温．年初由国际海事组织（IMO）推行的《拆船国际公约》经过进一步磋商与完善，已经有了具体通过的时间，欧盟出台的《拆船绿皮书》也引起业界的广泛关注。几乎同期．波罗的海国际海事公会（BIMCO）在6月举行的亚洲论坛上，首次设立了“船舶拆解”专场研讨会。种种迹象表明，国际舆论正在迅速向“绿色拆船”倾斜．而长期致力于安全环保与职业健康的中国拆船业则迎来了产业发展的转机。编者按]

China's shiprecycling industry

Since this year, international concern about shiprecycling industry has been ascending. At the beginning of this year, the Convention on the Safe and Environmentally Sound Recycling of Ships of IMOafter further negotiation and improvement has fixed the date for adoption. The green paper on better ship disrnantling launched by EU also aroused wide concern from the industry. Almost at the same time, BIMCO held a special workshop on ship scrapping at its Asia forum in June. So there are all the indications that international community is quickly focusing on green ship-scrapping. This has brought a favorable opportunity of development to the Chinese shiprecycling industry which has long aimed at safety, environmentally-friendliness and occupational health.
