| Abstract: | The advanced distributorless ignition system is adopted on the engine of BUICK with each ignition winding supplying high voltage to the two-cylinder spark plug at one time. This paper introduces in details the composition,working principles of the engine ignition system on BUICK and tells how to check its faults by the Scan diagnostic instrument. |
