Abstract:The light rail system features a medium transport capacity in urban rail transit and has broad application space.The plane curve radius of light rail lines has an important effect on the applicability of lines,investment size,transfer convenience,ease of construction,comfort of passengers and maintenance workload,so it is very important to select the appropriate minimum plane curve radius.At present,light rail lines mostly refer to Code for Design of Metro(GB 50157—2003) for design and construction,which cannot give full play to the advantages of light rail lines.Considering the characteristics of light rail lines,authors of the paper analyzed the principles of minimum plane curve radius,specifically analyzed the main influencing factors of plane curve radius,and researched the reasonable minimum plane curve radius of light rail lines.
