The paper studies the automatic detection technology for spring rupture in the test of driven disk of automotive clutch. It puts forward an automatic detection rationale,taking the change of torsion stiffness as the identification feature,and carries out the corresponding analysis and calculation.It describes the testing process and automatic detection scheme based on the rationale and gives the results.The technique enhances the intelligence level of the testing.
