| Abstract: | A new scheme of stress analysis is suggested in the paper. The scheme combines the advantages of adaptive technique and stress smoothing technique and has significant effects on improving finite element stress solutions. Because the algorithm is simple and the computational efficienty is higher than that of the usual adaptive procedures, the suggested scheme can easily be incorportated into existing general purpose programs. |
