六面体网格下复杂型转化器的三维数值模拟

摘    要:利用计算流体力学软件STAR-CD,对具有偏心锥台型扩张管催化转化器进行了全六面体网格下的三维稳态流动数值模拟;研究了该新型催化转化器载体区域的流动均匀性以及压力损失;阐述了其六面体网格生成过程,并探求和分析符合商用标准的计算方法,总结出有效的计算程序,为排气后处理系统的研制和开发提供了实用的参考。

Abstract:A computational fluid dynamics(CFD) code was used to simulate the three-dimensional steady flows in a catalytic converter with eccentric inlet-cone using hexahedral mesh.The distribution and the pressure loss of the flow within this new type catalytic converter were investigated. The focus of this paper is concentrated on the generation of hexahedral mesh.An effective procedure to meet the demand of the engineering computation was investigated in detail.The result can be the reference for developing a new type of catalytic converter.
