| Abstract: | This paper mainly introduces the design and structure of a new kind of steering wheel with a buffer of an air cylinder for energy absorbing while colliding with other vehicles. This paper also provides detailed structure parameters and dynamic function parameters. This new kind of steering wheel theoretically reaches the HIC and chest collison safety standards, so it may provide effective protection for drivers. |
