| Abstract: | The measures for improving car safety performance in side impact by modifications in body structures are presented,covering the use of high-strength steel in side structure of car body and the adoption of stuff filling and structural optimization techniques.A simulation analysis is performed on a real example of structural modification for a car,which verifies the effectiveness of above-mentioned structural modification measures. |
