Boston Matrix is a method for planning the composing of the enterprise's products. This paper analyses the principle of the Boston Matrix,introduces the steps of making the Boston Matrix chart,and puts forward the items which should be paid attention to. It points out that this method could lower the inventory level and reduce the risks brought by the overstock of the inventory.
