| 摘 要： | 民族主义形成之初的思想背景尚未引起国内学术界的重视。重视这方面的学术探索和研究将有助于我们理解民族主义的发生、发展及其对当今国际社会的影响，同时也能帮助我们更好地认识当代西方学术界内有关民族和民族主义研究的各种理论流派及它们之间的学术争论。本文拟通过辨析民族主义是否有其自身思想家、评析直接影响民族主义兴起的西方思想家的相关思想、剖析民族主义在西方兴起的思想背景特征，以求为国内民族主义研究提供些许有价值的思路。

| Abstract: | Up till now Chinese scholars have not paid enough attentions to the original ideological background of nationalism, though it is quite important in understanding the development of nationalism and the debates among western scholars on studing of nationalism by analyzing its ideological background. This article focuses on the debate over whether there were great thinkers in the ideology of nationalism, reviews the ideas of western thinkers influencing the creation of nationalism and analyses the characteristics of the ideas influencing the creation of nationalism for the purpose of providing some valuable ideas for the study of nationalism in the academic circle in China. |
