By means of fault tree analysis, the paper analyzes the torque converter of the gearbox which is the main part of a wheel loader, and draws the trouble tree of the main parts, according to the internal connection among the systems and the logical relationship between the parts failure and systems, and then use construction function to describe the effect that the pan condition gives rise to the system state.
