Comparative Study of Traditional Boat Construction Techniques in Korea and Japan

From ancient times, Korea and Japan have been heavily affected by Chinese civili-zation and become members of the family of Chinese cuhure. But with the development of history, Korea and Japan have formed respectively cultures with their own character-istics. Due to differences in geography, marine environment and characteristics of peo-ple, the techniques used by Korea and Japan in constructing traditional boats are greatly different.
