咳嗽晕厥综合征二例报告

<正> 本病为咳嗽引起的一过性意识丧失。1876年Chroot首先描述了咳嗽晕厥综合征。本病曾有很多名称、如“剧咳晕厥”,“咳嗽综合征”,“咳嗽后晕厥”,“喉性眩晕”,“咳嗽振荡”等。至1970年止,国外文献共报道400例国内仅有个案报道。

Syndrome of Cough Syncope—A Report of Two Cases

Two cases of the syndrome of cough syncope are reported. We made a systematic review on clinical manifestations, diagnosis, treatment, etc. Cough syncope may occur abruptly after the onset of a forced cough. With cessation of cougb, consciousness is rapidly recovered without sequelae. This disease is seen more commonly in middle-aged people than in children. The incidence of cough syncope is higher in men than in women. Anoxia is considered as an important mechanism of cough syncope.
