| Abstract: | A practical CAE system for autobody panel stamping forming simulation has been set up in this paper. It includes geometric modeling system for tools and blank, large-deformation elastic-plastic finite element analysis system for stamping forming, and post-process system for analysis results. The stamping forming process of Santana car's roof has been simulated by the established system. The distributions of thickness, stress and strain have been analyzed, and the wrinkling and cracking prone areas identified. |
