Abstract:In order to solve the problem of serious water accumulation and excessive noise in some sections of expressway,in this paper the IMP-PI-SCT absorption coefficient tester and water seepage meter are used to carry out indoor studies.Tests and analysis are conducted respectively for the singlelayer porous asphalt pavement PAC-10 and PAC-13 with different void ratio and the double-layer porous asphalt PAC-10+ PAC-13.Results show that the double-layer porous asphalt has better seepage effect than the single-layer porous asphalt.Then by testing the sound absorption coefficients of the three asphalt pavement structures,it is obtained that the double-layer porous asphalt pavement has better noise reduction effect than the single-layer porous asphalt pavement.Finally,the double-layer porous asphalt pavement is paved in actual project,and it is verified that this kind of pavement structure can solve the problem of excessive traffic noise and water accumulation in some sections of the expressway.
