Abstract:For the last few years, customers have been focusing on the time reduction of car wash and the frequency of car wash itself. In fact, introduction of hydrophilic waxes, body coatings and automotive finishing into the market has already begun. A high stain resistant coating (hydrophilic coating), which is applicable in the conventional base coat/clear coat wet on wet process, has been developed. Our studies have shown that the developed coating shows high performance in stain resistance while maintaining its general film properties as an automotive finish.
