Abstract:The pylons of the cable-stayed bridge of Wuhan Tianxingzhou Changjiang River Rail-cum-Road Bridge are characterized by the large construction scale,dense reinforcement and prestressing tendons and also the demanding concrete durability.In the construction of the pylons,lots of new techniques and new construction schemes were applied and the construction quality,safety and progress indices of the pylons were therefore ensured.In this paper,the construction techniques for the pylons are presented.
