Abstract:The clayey silt and the shifting sand silt are easy to cause the shifting sand and piping phenomenon under a certain hydrodynamic condition.The formation of shifting sand and piping will greatly reduce the carrying capacity of the subgrade.If the importance is not placed on the shifting sand geology in the course of engineering construction,it will form the difficultly handled hidden danger for the engineering projects under the construction and after the construction.The influence of shifting sand geology on theconstruction of engineering foundation is the problem hard to avoid for the engineering construction members.According to the engineering case of the sewer collapsing in Luding Road(Yunling Road East) of Changfeng Area in Shanghai,the article introduces the repairing construction technology.The relative experience can be referred for the professional members.
