| Abstract: | This paper conducts the calculation,comparison and analysis of closing schemes for the side spans of Guanyang Creek Bridge,and also makes a study of the feasibility of design and construction of closing side spans of continuous rigid-frame and continuous girder structures without using scaffolding at site where the topography is steep or there are high mountain and deep valley.The analysis and study herewith may serve as reference to the design and construction of other bridge works. |
