This article analyses the process of rescue operation for the fire distress of a Ro-Ro passenger ship and summarizes the success experience and the lessons learned from the operation.It also provides some suggestions on further strengthening the search and rescue capability with a view to promoting the capability building and improving the efficiency of SAR operations.
