碱金属热电转换器的原理及其应用

摘    要:碱金属热电转换器是以碱金属为工作介质,利用β"氧化铝固体电解质对碱金属离子独特的选择透过性,以热再生浓度差电池为工作原理的热电转换存储装置。碱金属热电转换器没有活动部件,具备高效率、高可靠性等特性,已经应用于航空、核电等军事领域。本文介绍了其工作原理,并且以"冥王星快车"项目热电转换器为例介绍结构组成,依次介绍研究机构、应用领域、瓶颈及前景。

Abstract:The alkaline metal thermal to electric converter(AMTEC) is a thermoelectric conversion storage device, which uses the alkaline metal as the working medium, the unique selective permeability of β "alumina solid electrolyte to alkali metal ions, and the working principle of the thermal regeneration concentration difference battery. Some of these advantages are high efficiency, high reliability, absence of moving parts, making it applied in the space, aerospace and other military areas. This paper introduce its working principle, and take AMTEC of Pluto Express to introduce the structure and composition followed by the research institution, application field, bottleneck and prospect.
