| Abstract: | The selection of some equipment in the hazardous area of the Super 116 E series jack-up drilling rigs built and delivered by Dalian COSCO Shipping Heavy Industry is analyzed and summarized. The focus is on the relationship between the division of the drilling rig’s hazardous areas, the equipment selection in the hazardous area, and the design and operating conditions of the platform, which can provide references for the hazardous area division and equipment selection in subsequent offshore drilling rig projects. |
