| 摘 要： | 车辆牌照识别是智能交通系统的重要组成部分，通过车辆牌照可以检索车辆的重要信息（监视车辆的违章和车辆缴费情况等）。开发研制了车辆牌照自动识别系统，该系统通过对车辆牌照定位找出车辆牌照位置，并对车辆牌照中的字符进行分割和匹配，从而识别出车辆牌照。实验表明该系统能够实时检测和识别车辆牌照。

| Abstract: | License plates recognition is an important part in intelligent transportation system, by which basic information about the vehicles can be searched, such as monitoring traffic peccancy and charge of the vehicle. Therefore we developed the license plates recognition system which can locate the area of the license plates at first, then segment and match the character, and finally recognize the license plates. The experiment indicates that the system can real-time detect, process and recognize the license plates. |
