| Abstract: | Traffic crash-related tort cases become more and more commonplace in China.In this paper,how tort cases are handled in California and the United States are presented,with focus on the definition,adjudication,discovery,and settlement.Case studies are also presented for illustration purposes.Presented in the end,are the worked strategies on how to effectively prevent traffic crash-related tort cases in the process of project development and maintenance and operations. |
