| Abstract: | Taking into account some mooring accident, a new mooring scheme was proposed for the external turret mooring in shallow water. In order to verify the feasibility of the plan, the mooring test was carried out to study the movement and mooring force about the new mooring program. The test result is compared with the theoretical calculation. Test data showed that the de- sign that shallow water external turret mooring system is correct and reasonable. |
