Advance Pre-strengthening of Ground for Crossover Tunnel Going Through underDense Dwelling Houses |

| Abstract: | The crossover of Chongwenmen-Dongdan section of Beijing Metro Line 5 goes through dense dwelling houses. To determine appropriate advance pre-strengthening measure and effectively control ground settlement, computation and analysis was made of horizontal chemical churning pile and large pipe roof, and comparison was made between the two schemes with respect to construction period and economy. |
