Application and Test Technology of Tunnel Fire Detectors

The principle and the application status of tunnel fire detectors are briefly introduced.The advantages,questions and defects of these equipments are summed up.On the basis of introducing the product test methods of temperature sensing tunnel fire detectors and with the traditional testing method and field condition,a new project field testing method of tunnel fire detector are introduced.The sim- ple and practical scheme is discussed in order to make sure the test can reflect the situation of the fire detect system.The testing results show that these methods are highly practical and available for many systems.It is hoped that the method can be helpful to selection,ma- intenance and project testing of tunnel fire detectors.
