Abstract: | An oxidation catalyst was developed to reduce particulate emission of diesel cars 1]. The new catalyst was applied to production passenger cars from the 1993 model year for EFTA (European Free Trade Association). This paper describes the optimization of noble metals, washcoat materials and loading, as well as specific test results for the emission performance and durability of the oxidation catalyst 2]. |
