广州构建面向未来的城市快速公交系统初探

随着广州经济的快速发展，城市交通压力不断增大，交通拥堵所带来的一系列问题日趋严峻，并可能成为广州在新时期经济进一步发展的瓶颈。目前广州城市交通所面临的最大问题是，每年高速度、大规模的路网建设与扩张，仿佛仍然不能满足城市交通增长的需求。其中问题的关键在于我们城市的交通结构不合理，公共交通系统没有充分发挥其应有的作用。常规公交运量小、速度低的问题一直以来难以解决，而轨道交通建设周期长、运营成本高。因此，建设大运量、高速度、低成本的面向未来的城市快速公交系统，是解决广州当前城市交通问题的一个有效方法。

With rapid economic development in Guangzhou, traffic pressure of the city is increasing, and traffic congestion has caused series of problems which is likely to be an obstacle to economic development in Guangzhou. At present, the most serious problem we are facing is that with a high speed, large-scale road network construction and expansion every year, it is still unable to meet the growing demand for urban traffic. The key point is that the traffic structure in our city was irrational and the public transport system doesn＇t fully play its due role. With a small capacity and low speed, problems of bus transit have been difficult to be solved, while rail transit needs a long construction period and high operating costs. Therefore, to build a large-capacity, high speed and low-cost future-oriented urban bus rapid transit systems is an effective way to solve the traffic problems in urban Guangzhou.
