结合新时期铁路建设工程项目的要求和铁路建设市场的变革，分析了新时期铁路建设市场对铁路建设项目施工承包方物资（供应）管理工作的要求以及物资（供应）管理的发展态势。提出了用项目管理的理念和方法不断改进物资（供应）工作，建立健全以项目为核心、与项目管理相统一的、动态的、严格过程控制的物资（供应）管理机制的思路。

Comments on Contractor’s Material Supply and Management

On basis of the construction requirements of the railway works and the changes of the railway works construction markets, the author analyzes the requirements of the railway works construction market to the contractor’s material supply and management and the state of the art of the material supply and management. The author concludes that the material supply and management works should be continuously optimized by means of project management concepts and methods and concludes that a new material supply and management system, which, taking the project as the core, is compatible with the project management and is dynamic and process controlled, should be established and perfected.
