3D Design of Highway Route based on Running Speed

As more and more disadvantage of traditional design speed method appears in design of highway alignment, this paper summarizes and analyzes the research results at home and abroad based on the study of interactive route design, and takes route safety evaluation and route CAD system into integration, improves the running speed design method. It further realizes 3D design of highway route based on the running speed, making the inspection and evaluation on highway design quality and traffic safety directly.
