| Abstract: | This paper describes the principal mechanism and the motion characteristics of channel type planing boats (CTPB)-A new hull form of high performance craft. Based on the analysis of model test results, the influence of the coefficient of boat load, the position of center of gravity, etc., on resistance and seakeeping performance is discussed. |
