| Abstract: | The anchoring and mooring equipments are briefly introduced in the paper,with the resistance of floating structures in water analyzed.On the basis of ensuring the strength of the anchor chain,the calculating methods for anchor-hold,the number of anchors needed and the length of the anchor chain are presented.The result of the research may serve as a technical guidance for practice. |
