Theoretical and Experimental Analysis for Dynamic Characteristics of Metal V-belt Type CVT |

| Abstract: | In this paper, a bi-mass model of metal V-belt type CVT system is established, and its dynamic characteristics have been studied in both theory and experiment. It is found that the accurate control of the speed ratio change rate is a key factor to improve dynamic performance of the car. The transitional characteristics of metal V-belt type CVT has been tested. The results show that theoretical analysis agrees well with test data. |
