摘    要:安全性现已成为客户选购汽车的重要因素之一,这促使汽车制造商必须设计出超出法规要求的高安全性车辆,以便在激烈的市场竞争中处于领先地位。由于结构和空间所限,侧面安全性能的提高会更具挑战性。文章介绍了C-NCAP,EuroNCAP,US-NCAP,IIHS的车辆侧面碰撞性能的市场评价规程,总结了基本试验方法和性能指标。在整车开发过程中,为提高车辆的侧面碰撞性能、结构及内饰的设计提供了参考。

Abstract:Safety Performance, one of the importance factors for customer purchasing vehicles, stimulates automobile manufacturers to design vehicles with high safety performance beyond national regulations to get advantage among fierce market competitions. Due to structure and space limit, side impact performance improvement will be more challenging. This paper offers an overview of several typical evaluation programs on vehicle side impact performance, including C-NCAP, EuroNCAP, US-NCAP and IIHS. What's more, basic testing protocols and performance criteria are summarized. To improve vehicle side impact performance, structural and interior strategy are defined and applied into vehicle development program.
