This paper present an experimental study on the RC slab-colunm connections with nonrectangular colunms, namely cross-shaped column, T-shaped column and L-shaped column. The punching shear deformation and strength characteristics of slab-column connections with nonrectangular columns under punching shear load are investigated. Nine specimens with the three kinds of nonrectangular columns and two reference specimens with square columns are tested. The tested ultimate loads, deformations, and failur emodes of specimens are presented and discussed. Test results reveal that the punching shear strength and ductility of the connections with nonrectangular columns are higher than those of the corresponding connections with square columns, and also prove that the application of nonrectangular columns to flat-plate structure was feasible. Based on the test results, one method of calculating punching shear strength of connections with nonrectangular columns is proposed, which conforms with the current design practice of China. The test results on the punching shear strength are compared with the predictions of the formulas proposed by codes of several different countrie; and the predictions given by ACI code and China code are found to be conservative as the reinforcement ratio is increased.  相似文献

Nonlinear behavior of jacket platforms is important in both design and rehabilitation issues that depends on the bracing arrangement. Both ductility and strength of the structures derived from pushover analysis are highly related to configuration of the braces. Considering a suitable criterion such as constant weight or constant stiffness and period of the structure in all arrangement cases, one can compare the capacity curves and find the best configuration. In this paper a simple logical method for investigating the strength and ductility of the jacket structure is presented, it is shown that global geometry and configuration of the braces are very important and effective in both strength and ductility parameters. Three parameters, normalized strength, normalized ductility and a combination of these two parameters are defined in order to have an engineering and practical index for comparing the results. At the end of the numerical discussion, the optimum configuration can be found. Such an investigation is very important in the initial design stage. Also, in assessment of existing platforms, it is very important to find the reliable strength and ductility of the structure. Such a study gives a deep view of this issue as well.  相似文献

Four exterior joints with special-shaped columns which have different lengths of limbs are tested under low cyclic loading. Special-shaped columns adopted are L- and T-shaped in section. It can be concluded that crack pattern, failure mode and shear strength of joints are affected by the length of limb, and that shear strength and ductility increase with the length of limb; the joints with the flexural failure of the beam have better seismic behavior than those with the shear failure of the joint core.  相似文献

以某轨道交通工程高架地铁车站为背景,建立有限元计算模型,分析地震作用下高架车站墩柱结构的地震反应。结果表明:在多遇地震作用下,该高架车站墩柱强度满足规范要求;在罕遇地震作用下,该高架车站墩柱非线性位移延性比满足规范要求。计算结果已为该高架车站的抗震设计提供依据,分析方法可为同类结构提供参考。  相似文献

从设计角度出发,对《地铁设计规范》、《城市桥梁抗震设计规范》和《城市轨道交通结构抗震设计规范》在桥梁抗震设计标准、分析方法、设计加速度反应谱及设计方法等方面进行对比、分析,阐明各规范的设计原理及适用性。分析结果表明,《地铁设计规范》和《城市桥梁抗震设计规范》的设计方法较为简明,便于操作;《城市轨道交通结构抗震设计规范》的设计概念更加明确,设计方法更加具体,对结构在地震作用下的工作状态把握也更加精准。  相似文献
