| Abstract: | Based on the study on configuration and basic performances of box traction substation, and combined with the practice of urban rail transit project, the conventional room substation and the box traction substation are compared comprehensively. The suggestion to use box traction substation in ground or elevated rail transit projects is raised, and some issues related are also presented. |
