The Function and Application of CATIA V5 Ergonomics Engineering

In the process of product design, human demand is paid more and more attentions, therefore ergonomics engineering receives much concern. This paper introduces the composition and function of CATIA V5＇s ergonomics engineering, and the application of CATIA V5 ergonomics engineering by the design of a driver seat is presented. The result shows that CATIA V5 has powerful ergonomics engineering function. With the people＇s living standard improving, the fields that ergonomics engineering involved in are becoming broader.
