The Prospects of the AIS Application in the Navigation |

| Abstract: | s] Under the forced proposal from the IMO, all the vessels must be equipped with AIS. This article makes a brief introduction to the structure and the functions of AIS, and mainly discusses the importance to the navigation safety after the AIS equipped. Then it describes the prospects of the AIS application in the navigation. |
