Abstract:So varied are military hazardous articles that their physical and chemical property is very complex.When they are transported by civilian freighters,we must have the work carefully organized with sound reasoning.Upon the basis of analyzing the influential factors of transporting military hazardous articles with civilian freighters,the filtrating conditions on the categories and the scope of the military hazardous articles that are suitable for civilian air transport are determined in the paper.From the angle of their physical and chemical property,inquiries are made into the transportability of various military hazardous articles and it is primarily confirmed that upon the basis of satisfying the basic conditions of transportability,such as the hatch size,and the weight and height limits of the cargo bay,etc.,the impact sensitivity of the military explosive to be airlifted must be kept to no more than 48%.This paper may serve as a useful reference for transporting military hazardous articles with civilian air freighters.
