| Abstract: | Intelligent optical network introduces the concept of dynamic exchange into traditional optical network. This is a great breakthrough about the transmission network. First,the shortcomings of SDH used in railway communication now are analyzed. Then the concept and characteristic of ION are investigated in this paper. Finally several application models are discussed in detail. |
