Appropriate modeling of roll damping is one of the key issues in accurately predicting ship roll motion. The difficulties
in modeling roll damping arise from the nonlinear nature of the phenomena. In this study, we report a new effort in modeling
the bilge keel roll damping effect based on the blocking mechanisms of an object in the potential flow. This effect can be
implemented as a component of appropriate ship motion models. We used our digital, self-consistent, ship experimental laboratory
(DiSSEL) ship motion model to test its effectiveness in predicting ship roll motion. Our numerical experiment demonstrated
clearly that the implementation of this roll damping component improves significantly the accuracy of numerical model results
(the results were compared with ship experiment data from the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Carderock Division, Maneuvering

为详细评价速度120 km/h地铁中梯形轨枕轨道的减振效果,通过对某地铁线路现场测试的方法,在时域和频域内对比分析梯形轨枕轨道较普通长枕整体道床轨道的减振效果。结果表明:梯形轨枕轨道从振动根源处就得到了有效的减振且减振的效果较好。普通长枕整体道床轨道能有效减弱振动加速度从钢轨至道床的传播,但是从道床至隧道振动加速度的衰减效果要弱于梯形轨枕轨道。梯形轨枕轨道减振效果整体好于普通长枕整体道床轨道,且能有效地降低中高频段的噪声。 相似文献

In order to safely maintain a vehicle, it is necessary to verify the most important systems that affect safety during Periodic
Motor Vehicle Inspections (PMVIs). In a previous paper, a test method and validation criteria were suggested by the authors
to verify shock absorber status during PMVIs, as they are a fundamental component that may wear out during a vehicle’s life.
In this paper, variations of the performance of the vehicle’s brakes resulting from shock absorber wearing have been analyzed,
in order to confirm whether the suggested criteria is valid for taking into account longitudinal forces and pitch movement
on the vehicle. A simulation-based study was conducted with several configurations of a worn damper on a vehicle driving on
two virtual roads: smooth and undulating. The results confirmed that the damping coefficient established as an acceptable
value to verify the shock absorber status in PMVIs is also valid considering the forces involved in a braking maneuver. 相似文献

Research purposes: The basic component of the track structure with isolated rubber floating slab is the concrete slab track born by the elastic element. The research was done on the mechanical properties of the floating slab, the analysis was made for the natural frequencies, mechanical response under dynamic load and damping performance, and the discussion was made on the reasonable thickness of the ballastless track to provide the reference to the track design. Research conclusions: The research results show that the natural frequency of the track system decreases with the increase of the thickness of the ballastless track, and the rate of change decreases with increase of the track thickness. The acceleration insertion loss of the track basis increases with the increase of the thickness of the ballastless track, and the rate of change decreases with increase of the track thickness. When the thickness of the ballastless track reaches at 0.4 m, the corresponding dynamic performance, the damping performance effect and the concrete amount of track bed are rather economical. From the present theoretical analysis and online testing, it can be seen the damping performance effect of the isolated rubber floating slab system is obvious, and its construction and maintenance programs are systematic. 相似文献
