The authors have already examined a method for evaluating the capsizing probability of a ship in the dead ship condition based on a piecewise linear approximation of the restoring arm. Here, this method is extended to ships with trapped water on deck. This is because the stability of ships having a relatively high bulwark, such as fishing vessels, could substantially deteriorate due to trapped water on deck. First, the mean amount of water trapped on deck was estimated as a function of the significant wave height and the mean wave period using a model experiment in irregular beam seas. Second, the restoring arm curve with trapped water on deck was calculated hydrostatically and then approximated with a piecewise linear curve. Third, the roll angle was estimated using a nonlinear and uncoupled equation of absolute roll angle under stochastic wave and wind exciting moments. The short-term and long-term capsizing probabilities were calculated for a fishing vessel operating off Kyushu. Numerical results quantitatively demonstrated that the effect on capsizing probability of trapped water on deck cannot be ignored when accurately evaluating the stability of fishing vessels.  相似文献

A systematic method for assessing intact ship stability with a free-running model in a seakeeping and maneuvering basin is proposed in this paper. Model experiments were carried out in extremely steep regular waves for a model drifting, running in head seas, and quartering seas. This method was applied to two purse seiners, and efficiently identified thresholds in metacentric heights for capsizing of these ships. These capsizing thresholds are compared with requirements of the IMO Code on Intact Stability. This series of model experiments also confirms that capsizing at the threshold occurs only in quartering seas, and shows that capsizing is caused by broaching, loss of stability on a wave crest, or bow diving. 骑浪/横甩是IMO船舶第二代完整稳性的五种失效模式之一,是一种基于概率的稳性衡准,制定规范的目的是更有效地保障船舶在实海域中的航行安全,确保不发生稳性失效情况.本研究中,以IMO有关成员国提出的最新版骑浪/横甩薄弱性衡准草案为基础,基于自主开发的骑浪/横甩薄弱性衡准校核软件,针对围网渔船开展了样船计算和比较分析,研究IMO正在制定的骑浪/横甩薄弱性衡准方法对该类船型的适用情况,分析船型参数对骑浪/横甩薄弱性衡准的影响,为我国参与国际法规制定,提出针对骑浪/横甩薄弱性衡准的提案提供技术支撑和依据.  相似文献

风帆助航技术为船舶利用可再生能源提供了途径,但随着横摇的幅度加大,导致船舶倾覆的概率也增大。文章采用数值分析的方法对风帆助航船舶的非线性横摇方程进行分析求解,对有风帆助航与无风帆助航船在风浪作用下产生倾覆的概率作了比较,为采用风帆助航技术的远洋船舶在符合初稳性和气象衡准稳性条件下的横摇倾覆防范提供研究思路。  相似文献

A new index, namely the overall motion induced interruptions (OMII), is proposed as a seakeeping criterion for fishing vessels, to compare ships having different hull forms and dimensions by means of an only parameter, in a human centred approach, mainly related to the onboard risk level. Therefore, the first aim of the paper is to investigate the factors affecting fishing vessels’ seakeeping performances to improve them to reduce the high number of injuries occurring during fishing operations, mainly related to both risk perception and harsh weather conditions. Despite the classical approach, where motion induced interruption is determined for a certain sea state with regard to several location points, the new index accounts for all crew members’ positions on the working deck, all heading angles the vessel may experience during fishing operations, based on relevant operating scenario, and all sea states the ship may encounter in the fishing area. The influence of position, heading angles and sea states on the attained risk level is fully investigated, analysing seakeeping performances of four fishing vessels with different hull forms and dimensions. Finally, a new operability criterion is proposed, based on OMII, to investigate the influence of ship size and operating scenario on the risk of injuries during fishing operations. Main factors affecting fishing vessels’ seakeeping performances are fully discussed, paying attention to relevant correlation with ship roll natural period.  相似文献

应用相空间转移率,定量研究了随机海浪中甲板上浪船舶的倾覆,给出了甲板上浪对船舶抗倾覆能力的影响.综合考虑非线性阻尼、非线性恢复力矩和随机横浪激励,建立了无甲板上浪和有甲板上浪时船舶随机非线性横摇运动的一般方程.以一艘倾覆的拖网船为例,分别求解了无甲板上浪和有甲板上浪时,不同海况激励下船舶横摇的相对相空间转移率.以相空间转移率作为船舶稳性损失的度量,定量比较了两种情况下船舶的抗倾覆能力.研究表明,甲板上浪后,船舶在较低的海况下会产生较大的相对相空间转移率,甲板上浪严重降低船舶的抗倾覆能力,从理论上进一步揭示了甲板上浪船舶的倾覆机理.  相似文献

 To develop a practical prediction method for the green water load and volume on the bow deck in irregular waves, model tests were conducted using a tanker and a cargo ship on a domestic Japanese voyage. The relation between green water load and relative water height at the stem was considered. Based on the finding that the maximum value of the green water load is proportional to the square of the maximum value of the water elevation over the bow top, the probability density functions of the green water load and volume in short-term predictions were proposed. It was verified that the proposed functions show good agreement with the measured distributions, especially in the tails, and were better than conventional functions. Using these functions, long-term predictions of the green water load were carried out. It was confirmed that the present method is more rational than the conventional one for estimating the long-term probability of the green water load. An assessment of the bow height of a domestic Japanese ship from the viewpoint of deck wetness was carried out using these prediction methods. This research was used as the technical background for the revision of domestic rules on load lines, which was enforced in October 2001. 以油船和散货船为对象,介绍了甲板梁拱的型式和作用,并对梁拱的设计进行了深入探讨。对于具有梁拱的船舶,甲板板的总纵弯曲应力如何计算,给出了一个有效的计算公式。对于甲板企口的设计也进行了详细的分析。得出了对于甲板梁拱的设计,虽然目前没有任何规范给出明确规定,但它对整个船舶设计的影响是深入的和全面的,应从基于使用目的和方便施工等目标进行综合考虑的结论。  相似文献

研讨了随机海浪中船舶非线性随机横摇运动倾覆过程和安全域问题.考虑非线性阻尼、非线性复原力矩和随机波浪,建立了随机横浪中船舶运动的随机非线性微分方程.考虑两参数海浪谱和不同的有义波高,计算随机波浪力矩,采用简谐加速度数值计算方法求解随机微分方程,进行了随机倾覆过程的数值模拟.考虑船舶运动的瞬时状态,发展了胞映射方法计算随机非线性横摇运动安全域的方法,并编制了计算机程序.模拟了一条渔船不同有义波高作用下横摇倾覆过程,考虑不同的初始条件及随机波浪参数,在初始值平面上采用胞映射法构造了渔船航行的安全域.波高较小时,安全域是一个连续的区域;随着有义波高增大,安全域面积减小并且不再连续,倾覆域和安全域相互包围.计算结果表明,船舶运动的瞬时状态对安全域具有重要影响,而且随机海浪中安全域具有随机特性.  相似文献

本文针对国际海事组织(IMO)目前正在制定的第二代完整稳性衡准中的骑浪/横甩稳性失效模式展开了研究,详细阐述了最新的衡准草案规范并编制了计算程序。在此基础上,以一条远洋渔船为例,开展了静水阻力拖航试验,研究了规范中所涉及的输入参数对于衡准校核结果的影响,包括静水阻力、螺旋桨推力系数等。结果表明,静水阻力数据对于校核结果的影响很大,而螺旋桨推力系数等的影响则较小。本研究对于IMO确立该衡准规范具有参考价值,对于船舶设计人员也有一定的指导意义。  相似文献

应用随机Melnikov方法和庞加莱截面研究甲板上浪时船舶的混沌运动。考虑甲板上浪对船舶静稳性的影响,建立随机横浪中船舶横摇运动方程。由随机Melnikov过程结合均方准则确定船舶产生混沌运动的参数域,计算不同参数域中船舶横摇响应的庞加莱截面和时间历程。结果表明,增加船舶阻尼将抑制混沌运动的发生。甲板上浪时船舶横摇响应的庞加莱截面上有两个吸引域,船舶运动过程有两个横摇中心。在非混沌参数域中,船舶只围绕其中的一个横摇中心运动;在混沌参数域中,发生由一个横摇中心到另一个横摇中心的随机跳跃。  相似文献

针对某港码头方沉箱,探讨了影响方沉箱浮游稳定特性各因素(定倾半径、质心到浮心的距离、定倾高度和沉箱吃水)随着沉箱密度和前舱加水高度的变化规律。结果表明:在前舱加水高度不变的情况下,方沉箱定倾半径和质心到浮心的距离随着沉箱密度增加而减小,定倾高度和沉箱吃水则相反;在沉箱密度不变的情况下,各因素随着沉箱密度的变化规律同前舱加水高度。前舱加水高度过高,会引起方沉箱的浮游由稳定平衡变为不稳定平衡,存在较大风险,而规范中并未有所体现,建议设计时加以考虑。同时在满足浮游稳定的前提下,尽量减少前舱加水高度从施工上来说是很有必要的。  相似文献

A constrained interpolation profile (CIP)-based Cartesian grid method for strongly nonlinear wave–body interaction problems is presented and validated by a newly designed experiment, which is performed in a two-dimensional wave channel. In the experiment, a floating body that has a rectangular section shape is used. A superstructure is installed on the deck and a small floating-body freeboard is adopted in order to easily obtain water-on-deck phenomena. A forced oscillation test in heave and a wave–body interaction test are carried out. The numerical simulation is performed by the CIP-based Cartesian grid method, which is described in this paper. The CIP scheme is applied in the Cartesian grid-based flow solver. New improvements of the method include an interface-capturing method that applies the tangent of hyperbola for interface capturing (THINC) scheme and a virtual particle method for the floating body. The efficiency of the THINC scheme is shown by a dam-breaking computation. Numerical simulations on the experimental problem for both the forced oscillation test and the wave–body interaction test are carried out, and the results are compared to the measurements. All of the comparisons are reasonably good. It is shown, based on the numerical examples, that the present CIP-based Cartesian grid method is an accurate and efficient method for predicting strongly nonlinear wave–body interactions.  相似文献

By utilizing a four-degrees-of-freedom numerical model with dense grids of control parameters and the sudden-change concept, the qualitative aspects of the nonlinear motions of a fishing vessel complying with the International Maritime Organization's intact stability criteria in following and quartering seas were intensively explored. As a result, capsizing due to broaching, capsizing without broaching, broaching without capsizing, stable surf-riding, and steady periodic motion were identified. The natures of the boundaries of these motions in the control parameter plane were investigated, and the effects of the initial conditions and the nonlinearity of calm-water maneuvering forces are also discussed. Furthermore, comparisons with a model experiment showed that the numerical model used here qualitatively explains capsizing phenomena, but quantitatively overestimates the danger of capsizing.
